Vidyo Announces New Cloud-Based Video Conferencing Service ...

HACKENSACK?Video telecom provider, Vidyo, announced on Monday the availability of its new cloud-based video conferencing program ? simplified, high-quality andcompatible with a wide range of programs and smart phones, highlighting previous inefficiencies with the video conferencing market.

The program, Vidyoway, targets the problems with traditional video conferencing: low quality, exorbitant costs and complexity behind video conferencing programs.

The company?s mantra, ?technology should be invisible,? along with the limited availability of quality programs and high associated costs inhibiting the video conferencing market, drove Vidyo to develop its free cloud-based conferencing program.

The program offers a stronger B2B, B2C and C2C connection. Its nonexistent cost, higher quality feed and compatibility with devices makes it a solid investment for companies and consumers.

?[Our] video conferencing participants can now use a single dialing scheme to leverage video communications with other business users regardless of their device,? said Ofer Shapiro, Vidyo?s CEO and cofounder in his blog post about his company?s new product.

Shapiro went on to discuss how interoperability didn?t essentially mean interconnectivity; users may have the devices needed to collaborate on certain projects, but it does not ensure that they will be fluidly interconnected with each other.

Users are able to access a given conference with a user name and PIN code through mobile products, Microsoft Lync, H.323 Endpoint, Cisco, Polycom and SIP based rooms.

It streamlines stored information in devices to create a customized video conference. The online demo illustrates how an iPad user can create a video conference and invite its participants through its stored address book.

?Vidyo continues to prove themselves as a leader in market innovation, technical excellence, scalability and adaptability to varied video conferencing environments. The new, free Vidyoway service is sure to positively disrupt the market as Vidyo has been able to do in recent years. Vidyoway has the true potential to expand the video conferencing and collaboration market to mass deployment levels,? said Roopam Jain, Frost and Sullivan?s Industry Director of Unified Communications and Collaboration.

Vidyo has expanded their portfolio to incorporate vibrant changes in conferencing infrastructure and endpoints while broadening their scope within small and mid-sized enterprises and extending their reach within education, government, healthcare and broadcast television fields.
